It’s that time of year again! Jump Rope for Heart is coming to Raguet.

For the month of February, students are encouraged to take part in Jump Rope for Heart, and can in two different ways. Students have the option to donate $5 to the American Heart Association, and will receive a keychain as a thank you. Bringing a $5 donation will end on February 23rd.

Students also have the option to invite other people to the cause. Students can ask anyone, friends and family, to donate money to the American Heart Association, which will go to provide monetary assistance to families in need of help, as well as going towards research. As students bring in money they have collected, they will be mailed a thank you gift.

On February the 17th, the annual jump rope competition will be held during electives. Everyone in each class will compete to jump the most they possibly can until they feel as though they can’t anymore.

Each class will have a winner who will then compete against one another to be the grand champion for their own grade. There will be overall six winners who will receive a prize. Lacy year, each champion received a gold medal from the American Heart Association.

If you have any more questions regarding ways to donate, feel free to contact Coach Dial. Happy jumping!
